Robert & Shauna Valentine Family

Robert Young Valentine and Shauna Burgon Valentine met at BYU, fell in love and were married in 1967. They have lived in Provo, Utah; Durham and Laurinburg, North Carolina; and, for nearly three decades in Lincoln, Nebraska. Bob and Shauna moved back to Utah in 2004 into a new home in Highland. Lake Blanche Trail








Bob Valentine and James Ford took their weekly hike today, this time to Blanche Lake. Starting at 9:30 a.m., they arrived at the top around 1 p.m., ate lunch and descended to the parking lot at 3:30. (They enjoyed another meal at "Curry in a Hurry" on State Street later.) Everyone in Utah should take this wonderful hike. There are three lakes on top: Blanche, Lillian and Florence! Utah is a paradise for hikers! Four weeks; four hikes. Getting in shape!
