Robert & Shauna Valentine Family

Robert Young Valentine and Shauna Burgon Valentine met at BYU, fell in love and were married in 1967. They have lived in Provo, Utah; Durham and Laurinburg, North Carolina; and, for nearly three decades in Lincoln, Nebraska. Bob and Shauna moved back to Utah in 2004 into a new home in Highland. The Continuing Quest - Tuesday, August 3, 2010

Near the top, we could have hiked down to Brighton ski resort. This is where Big Cottonwood and Little Cottonwood canyons sort of come together.



Bob Valentine and Jim Ford hiked to Sunset Peak in the Albion area today, our fifth hike in the Wasatch Mountains in as many weeks. Today, we climbed like mountain goats to an altitude of about 10,000 feet from a trail head above the Alta ski resort. From the top we could see to Wyoming, the Uintas and the back of Mt. Timpanogas. It is an easy climb and the mountain flowers are beautiful.
