Robert & Shauna Valentine Family

Robert Young Valentine and Shauna Burgon Valentine met at BYU, fell in love and were married in 1967. They have lived in Provo, Utah; Durham and Laurinburg, North Carolina; and, for nearly three decades in Lincoln, Nebraska. Bob and Shauna moved back to Utah in 2004 into a new home in Highland. Lone Peak!











Starting at 4 a.m. Grandpa Valentine made it above the second Hamongong (meadow) to about 10,000 feet at 8 a.m. and ran out of steam. Gina, Jonathan and their friends kept going up the granite boulders to the top at 11,235 feet where they frolicked with a dozen or so white mountain goats.
