This Ironrite was manufactured in 1954!
Did your Mom or Grandmother use one of these Ironrites?
Most of all, you get to sit down while ironing!
Bob found it on KLS.com for $75 and picked it up (with some difficulty - it weighs a ton) in Roy, Utah from the son of a deceased woman who used it for years. Shauna has always ironed sheets, pillowcases, napkins, etc. and was recently called to be the East Highland Stake Relief Society (google Relief Society), which means lots and lots of tablecloths! It works perfectly!

I remember my Mom telling me about a machine like this that they used in the Nauvoo Temple on their mission when they were assigned in the laundry area! Awesome!
