New Years Eve: 2011 - 2012
Following a delicious buffet dinner (Magleby's), we enjoyed the official opening of Patrick Barlow's adaptation of "39 Steps" at the Hale Center Theater in Orem at 10 p.m. on December 31st.
At one minute to midnight, the play was interrupted, and we celebrated the new year with the cast members and patrons in the SOLD OUT theater! The play, directed and adapted to theater-in-the-round by our son-in-law Christopher Layton Clark (Lisa's husband) will run through February 11, 2012.
We laughed our heads off! Lisa and Christopher brought their five kids, who are very theater-saavy! If you live in Utah, don't miss this comedy!
The actors - Blake Barlow, Kelly Hennessey, Alex King, Jake Suazo (who should be a regular on "Saturday Night Live") and Carter Thompson were brilliant, playing forty different characters with clever changes!
Owen is always a participant!
Margaret didn't quite make it! Hugh will no doubt be an actor someday!
Miles and Phoebe are ready for the stage! They have the DNA and the environment!
