Bob & Shauna still on Vacation! Zion's National Park!

We spent the night at the Best Western Red Hills in Kanab because all of the other places were full of foreign tourists. Three cheers for a weak dollar, which kept us from going to Italy this summer. We did luck out, however, by wandering over to the Rocking V Cafe at 97 West Center in Kanab. The place was packed and there was a one hour wait to get in; however, the owner Victor Cooper took a liking to us and sat us down immediately. We had one of the best Italian meals ever! Don't miss this place if you ever go through Kanab on your way to Lake Powell or the Grand Canyon. www.rockingvcafe.com And there is an excellent art gallery upstairs! We had a garlic lemon shrimp appetizer. Robert had Chicken Mushroom Alfredo (hot and al dente) and Shauna had Chicken Marsala. Dessert was a Creme Brulee worthy of our favorite restaurants in Paris. We took this picture the next morning on our way back to St. George where we lunched with Peter and Sharee Berry, our old Lincoln pals.
