Robert Young Valentine and Shauna Burgon Valentine met at BYU, fell in love and were married in 1967. They have lived in Provo, Utah; Durham and Laurinburg, North Carolina; and, for nearly three decades in Lincoln, Nebraska. Bob and Shauna moved back to Utah in 2004 into a new home in Highland. Bob and Shauna's Friday Night Date - 1-13-2012

It was our turn to volunteer at the local LDS (Mormon) welfare cannery. With our neighbors in the Canyon View Ward (Congregation), we cleaned up the equipment that produced canned pork and beans during the day for the needy not only in the LDS church but elsewhere. For more information on this wonderful world-wide program, we encourage you to Google "LDS Welfare Program" or similar words. In the past year we have volunteered on the production line producing canned peaches and other foods. One of the benefits of activity in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the many opportunities to provide service.
