Robert & Shauna Valentine Family

Robert Young Valentine and Shauna Burgon Valentine met at BYU, fell in love and were married in 1967. They have lived in Provo, Utah; Durham and Laurinburg, North Carolina; and, for nearly three decades in Lincoln, Nebraska. Bob and Shauna moved back to Utah in 2004 into a new home in Highland. Burgon Family honored in Midvale, Utah





The prominent Burgon family helped settle Midvale more than a century ago. The new overpass over State Street around 178 South in Salt Lake City honors their early contributions! Shauna Burgon Valentine has a rich heritage, so do her children and grandchildren.

4.5 miles with a 2,217 ft elevation gain. From Mueller Park Road, East of Bountiful, Utah. Beautiful hike. Ford and Valentine can hike, this being their 15th or 16th hike of the summer. At the top, ruins of an old miner's cabin.
