CPAP Madness!
Bob got an updated CPAP test for sleep apnea last night at Neurological Associates in Orem, Utah. Yes, he still suffers from sleep apnea, but sleeps like a baby because of his trusty CPAP machine. He will soon get a new model. Bob was first diagnosed with severe sleep apnea 14 years ago in Lincoln, Nebraska by Dr. John F. Trapp at Lincoln General Hospital. After years of extensive and relentless overseas travel, Bob was suffering from severe jet-lag, was overweight and under a lot of stress. The CPAP probably saved his life. Sleep apnea means that you stop breathing every few minutes or so. It is very hard on your heart. Shauna has slept, too, over the last fourteen years because Bob seldom snores anymore, but is continuing to work on his other defectsBob looks like a character in the latest BATMAN movie!
All wired up for the sleep apnea test.

Skiing the Backside of Timpanogas Mountain
Yesterday, son-in-law Jonathan James (Gina's husband) and friends climbed up the backside of Timpanogas Mountain from Aspen Grove (nearly 12,000 ft.) for five hours and skied down for an hour. The snow was stable and all powder. Jon said it was fabulous! He is an experienced skier with plenty of safety equipment. No doubt, Utah has some of the best snow in the world. Really!
